(WiiU) Next Console Zelda to Keep Motion Controls

It's confirmed! After the success that was, "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" (Wii), Nintendo will be sticking with motion controls for the next Zelda title.

In a recent ONM (Official Nintendo Magazine), Eiji Aonuma says the following. "I honestly think we cannot go back to button controls now" He also speaks about sticking with the Skyward Sword control scheme for the indefinite future

Here you have it people! Proof that a version of The Conduit in some form is in works for the Nintendo 3DS.

"We are very much pulling over this engine and this technology on this new hardware. We're still early. The resolution is definitely lower, but the screen real estate is smaller so it balances out. We've not had a lot of severe optimisation yet, but we're going to be able to have something very close to this [Conduit 2] on the 3DS probably by GDC. We've got environments from this already up and running around. You can shoot, you can select different weapons and you can see enemies. It runs pretty darn well with full 3D and everything. I would guess that SEGA will be interested. I had a nice conversation just yesterday with their head of artist and repertoire. At DICE, the conference in Vegas that's coming up, we'll probably have some more chats. We're very excited about that system and what we're going to be be able to do on it. The work we've done with the Wii, we're going to have a serious leg up. It's quite different than developing for the DS and the DSi. Developers like us that have more of a console experience on GameCube and on Wii are going to be able to take advantage of the 3D better and they're going to be able to do a little bit more with the hardware than people who are coming at it from the straight DS angle and used to doing more 2D, or very limited 3D, kinds of things. My Android "Sans Touch" Adventure...

Last Sunday I received my little sister's broken Samsung Moment phone. It's a cute little phone but her touch panel was pretty shattered, It (the panel) worked but like an idiot I decided to try to peel the "shards" away from the touch panel. Lets just say, that did not work. In the end I decided to cut off the touch panel completely and learn how to navigate Android OS strictly with the keyboard.

For starters, IF you EVER decide to navigate an android device with a physical keyboard, make sure that device has PHYSICAL, "Home", "Menu" and "Back" buttons. I can not stress enough how important the "Back" option is in Android. Most phones tend to have a "menu" modifier button on the QWERTY keyboard. Luckily my phone was one of them. As for application navigation, The Home menu is just a glorified way to do said task. You can simply press the "Search" button on your keyboard and type in the name of the application you want and open it that way.

Another way to quickly get to your most used applications is to use keyboard shortcuts. Below is a video showing you how to set up your shortcuts.

How are things so far, you wonder? I'll tell you this. I'm having a OK time navigating between Twitter, Youtube, Facebook and Nimbuzz (my multi-messaging app). I was pretty disappointed to see that the OKCupid app did not include keyboard navigation for "in app" options. Of course, the work around for that is to just simply pull up the browser and use the OKCupid mobile site. I have yet to try my emulators but I'm not sure I want to, considering the arrow buttons on this keyboard are pretty tiny and would making gaming a pain in the hiney. I could just easy connect my Wii Remote to this phone using Bluetooth.

Before I go, I mentioned my workarounds for the "Menu" and "Home" commands but Not "Back". Look at picture 3. Do you see that lighted area in the corner? When the full screen cover is on, just placing my finger over that light would execute the "Back" command. In my case I need to place my finger not over that light but in the corner where the touch cable was cut to attempt the "Back" command. it works 75 percent of the time.

For now I'll continue to use Android the way I am but as soon as I can get the money, I will be getting the following items...

- a cover for this phone

- a new touch panel

- of course, if there are any willing people out here who would like to donate these items, I wouldn't mind creating a new post, documenting my experience repairing the touch panel. :) *wink wink*

There are just some things that stay with you for a long time. Ive been using basic HTML since I was 14, I'm 25 now and it amazes me how I still remember certain tags and how to use them properly. If push came to shove and I found myself totally lost I have at least two HTML coding books here that I can always refer to and of course, there's my "friend" Google. Right now I'm just spitting out thoughts here so feel free to ignore this post.

Now with the blog back in circulation I do want to do some neat things soon. First I'm planning to revamp my Justin.TV page and will be posting gameplay streams soon. I did a quick test of the Justin.TV app on my Android device and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised at the performance. Secondly I will be revamping my Youtube page. It's time for me to do a few commentaries, say some things that people are just too afraid to say. Frankly, as much as I love the gaming industry, there are a lot of things that make me want to pull my dreads out.

All of that aside. I really want to do a better job of keeping this blog up. Hopefully those of you following me will continue to stick with me. Also, thank you to those of you who are reading my blog. I appreciate your viewer-ship. OK I'm done talking. -Duces!

I'm not sure what the deal is with this game. Last time I checked, the Wii version was slated for released in October of this year. I'm not sure if this game will ever see the light of day considering that High Voltage Studios is also working on a XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 version but who knows.

... right there, we have at the least five really good games to look forward to. I'm sure there will be other surprises this year. Only time will tell. For now, let's enjoy all of the great Wii games we have now. :)

WOW! Times does fly when you're having fun. I remember a while back when I was downloading up my first two WiiWare Games from the Wii Shop Channel. Pop and TV Show King were and still are two pretty good WiiWare Games. If you own a Wii and have yet to experience the WiiWare side of games, go grab a Nintendo Points card from your local retailer or pull out your credit/debit card and purchase a few tiles.

It's almost here, it's almost here! Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be released within a few weeks and I am very excited! DS/DSi: New "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White" Information

Honestly I still cant believe that we have come from Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow, to Gold, Silver and Crystal to Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, Fire Red and Leaf Green, Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, Heart Gold and Soul silver all the way to Black and White. WOW that's a lot of Pokemon games and I'm not even naming all of the Pokemon side games. "Mysterious Dungeon" series, I'm looking at you! Ladies and gentlemen, Pokemon Black and White are on their way and will be released before year's end (at least in Japan) on the Nintendo DS/DSi. These two new games are sporting more of a 3D look and you can be sure to find many new Pokemon in these two, new versions of this long running series.

Looks like a new Kamen Rider (DS) game is on the way and... it's card based. I'm a bit disappointed about this move and feel as if a true fighting game would be better. For now, I will look high and low for the DS version of "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight". The DS could really use more 3D fighting games than Naruto.

Capcom runs out of Monster Hunter 3 (By Mail) Demo Disc

Nice work on getting people pumped! But, unfortunately, we had limited quantities of the [Monster Hunter Tri] demo (as was stated in the “Rewards” section). So since we’ve reached our limit, we removed the icon for now. To make sure others get the demo, it would be best to direct them to a GameStop store. Keep your eyes peeled though, as we have another item for the “Rewards” section in the coming weeks. - Capcom employee

That's right, the above statement was made by a Capcom employee and honestly, this is a good sign! I already ordered my "by mail" demo disc but I will also be picking up two disc at Gamestop for some friends. PLEASE everyone. I was starting to wonder what happened to "Gladiator A.D." until today. This morning I was welcomed to a nice surprise! It looks like Sega will be publishing High Voltage Studio's next Wii outing. No longer "Gladiator A.D." the game is now called "Tournament of Legends" and is due out in may.

Um... yeah. The title sums it up. I ran into this video while looking for more stuff on Apple's new "tablet based" computer. I was seconds away from saying "The future is here" but sadly this baby is missing a few things I would have wanted from a tablet computer. Aside from all of that, check this video out. it's "cute" and informative at the same time and there aren't many videos that can claim to do that these days.

Game Review Series Volume 4

It’s winter again and the kids are back in school but that does not mean that the fun has to be over. Last year was no short on good Wii releases but, none of them gives you that “fun in the sun feeling” in the same way as Nintendo’s, “Wii Sports: Resort”. "Wii Sports Resort" is the sequel to the 2006 pack-in, release, "Wii Sports". Where "Wii Sports" was used to get Wii owners open to the idea of using a Wii Remote and Nunchuck, the sequel, also serves a purpose. In June, we saw the release of the "Motion Plus" accessory. This device plugs into the bottom of the Wii Remote and allows for 1:1 (pronounced 1 to 1) control. Every copy of "Resort" includes a "Wii Motion Plus" device.

At first look, one might wonder why they should pick up this game. Compared to the five games offered in Wii Sports, the Resort version features 12 games, two of which (bowling and golf), are enhanced revisions from the first game. Swordplay, Wake boarding, Frisbee, Archery, Basketball, Table Tennis, Power Cruising, Canoeing, Cycling and Air Sports are the new entries. Wow, that was a mouthful!

Each game is pretty much self-explanatory but better, each game features alternate versions and or variations. Upon starting the game you are introduced to a three-minute video of how to install and handle your "Wii Motion Plus" device. Speaking of Motion Plus; the device is the true star of the game. None of the events in Resort can be played without one. As I said earlier, each game does not need to be deeply explained. What I will do is tell you about the games I enjoyed the most and how well they use the Motion Plus accessory. First off "The game works!" This is absolutely, one of the best examples of what the Motion Plus can do. If you think you have experienced everything Wii motion controls can offer, think again! Since seeing this game back in 2008 I have always wanted to play the Archery mode. Obviously it’s the first game I played.

Normally when you think of archery in a video game you would expect something of a first person shooter setup. That is very far from what you get in "Resort". In this mode you hold the Wii Remote vertical like a bow and you use the Nunchuck to draw back the arrow, while holding down the "Z" button. To release the arrow, you simply release the "Z" Button. In this game you do have a targeting reticule but the IR Pointer at the tip of the remote does not control it. To best describe targeting, you have a "targeting circle" that you have to align with the bulls-eye. Unlike a traditional reticule, you will not get a spot on shot. Instead, you have to rely on your whit and your eyes (like in real archery) to estimate where your arrow will land.

I had a great time with this game. The challenge of working with the "targeting circle" and angling my arrow against the wind was pretty amazing. I loved the overall feel of the setup. I am also pretty amazed how accurately the Wii Remote (with Motion Plus) can be used to aim at something on the screen. You normally don't see that level of targeting control unless it’s through the remote's infrared pointer. It really shows how versatile the Wii Remote is.

Another game I had a lot of fun with was “Power Cruising”. In this game you hold the Wii Remote and Nunchuck in your hands horizontally, like a big handlebar. The “A” button is used to accelerate and you turn the controller parts left and right together to turn in the desired direction. The goal of the game is to drive your jet ski to the many checkpoints within the allotted time, until you reach the end of the course. You also have a meter beside your Mii character. That bar shows you how much boost power you have. In order to use your boost, you simply rotate the controller parts forward like a motorcycle handle. The beautiful part about Power Cruising is the feeling of being behind a fast moving vehicle. By holding the controller properly for this certain game, your mind is allowed to imagine and be apart of the scenery created by this game. In essence, that has always been the beauty of the Wii. You hold the controller in different ways to ”bring” you into the game.

“Air Sports” is another game that shows off the sensitivity of the Motion Plus accessory. This game is very simple but just like all of the other resort games, there is a lot of fun to be had from this game. Air Sports is divided into three parts; skydiving, island flyover and dogfight. In “Island flyover” you hold the Wii Remote in its native position. Your plane automatically accelerates, the “B” button can be used to stop your propeller and the “A” button allows for you to shoot out pellets, which allow for you to pop balloons. Every slight movement is measured by the Motion Plus add on. To turn your plane, you simply move the Wii remote in the way you would a toy airplane. You can twirl the remote 360 degrees to do a barrel roll or just do two quick 90 degree turns to reach the same effect. You can also thrust your remote forward for a quick speed boost. Movement seems very natural to the point that many “core” Nintendo gamers that play this game will ask their selves, “Where’s my Star Fox Wii game?”

Another great part about “Island Flyover” is the ability to explore WuHu Island, the home of your Mii characters. While “Wii Sports Resort” might not be packing in the polygons arena, the game is nothing less than beautiful. Once again Nintendo shows that they are the masters of turning something simple into something beautiful. Every part of WuHu Island is crafted in fine detail and flying your plane around it and exploring the island is an experience that no Wii owner should miss out on. I almost wish that Nintendo will use the island setup again and create an adventure game just for the Mii characters.

Aside from the 12 different games and their multiple variations, “Wii Sports Resort” also includes an achievement system. You can do certain things within the game and gain recognition for them. Different types of icons represent the different achievements and you can compare your accomplishments with that of your friends and family. The only thing that seems to be missing from this game is an online component. You can use the Mii characters that you collect from the separate “Check Mii Out” channel but as for a direct online mode between the game disc and the “Nintendo WiFi Connection” service, there is none.

If you are a Wii owner I definitely recommend this game for you. If you are not a Wii owner, I still recommend this game for you. There is something simply magical about “Wii Sports Resort” and its use of the “Motion Plus” accessory. This game takes things back to the core of what video games are about. The ability to imagine, to experience and to enjoy having fun with the people close to you is what gaming is about. “Wii Sports Resort” will be a game that will stay in the hearts of people for years to come.

To explain, "Connection Ambassador" is a program that Nintendo has created to get current owners of Wii and DS consoles to teach newer owners how to connect an enjoy the system's many features. Kamen Rider Decade

With the Power Rangers franchise ending this year and "Kamen Rider Dragon Knight" coming to a close, I have been busy looking for other sources to get my "live action" fix. This week I started to watch "Kamen Rider: Decade" and I'm also watching "Kamen Rider W" and "Samurai Sentai: Shinkenger" (the show that was supposed to be Power Rangers 2010) on the side. I have to say that, as a first time viewer of the Japanese version of Kamen Rider, this show gets me more excited to learn about the Kamen Rider universe. There are still a few games that make me want to have a Nintendo DS Lite (Even if my DSi is way superior), this is one of those games. "Easy Piano" is looking to do for the piano, what "Jam Sessions" did for the guitar, teach you how to play the piano. This game comes with a keyboard attachment that gets plugged in to the Slot-2 port (GBA port) of the DS/DS-Lite. The Slot-1 card (NDS Game Card) comes jam packed with piano tutorials, mini games and other tools. The trailer is below so have fun!

Nintendo 64 iPhone Emulator

Now this is an interesting little application for the iPhone, a Nintendo 64 emulator. Personally I never understood iPhone gaming. Really, games made for a touch screen is one thing but games that require you to use touch screen buttons to control major functions of the game, that's a "no no". Even in DS games, I only like my touch screen buttons to serve a secondary feature. "Tony Hawk American Sk8teland" (albeit a great game) used to have its "turn off" moments with me when I had to move from my buttons and use the touch screen, to pick up my skater. Back to this emulator, obviously Nintendo will squash this like a bug in the "store" area but, I'm sure all the homebrewers will have fun with this little thing. Check out the footage below.

Im back everyone. Things have been very rough emotionally and honestly, this blog would serve better from having a staff than just one person working on it. Lately I have been enjoying my Nintendo DSi system (blue) and if you're wondering what I have been playing lately, check out my little list below...

WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2010

When I'm totally in my wrestling geek mood, I will spend hours at a time playing this. At first the controls took some getting used to. The console versions of this game has a more "elaborate" control setup. In the DS game, you have more of a feeling of the PlayStation One SmackDown controls with a bit slower speed than WWF No Mercy. This game is almost perfect. The only flaw I can see is the slowness of the matches and the "digital" movement of the characters. The DS has an "eight way" digital pad, maybe next years game will feature more fluidity in character motion.

Asphalt: Urban GT 2

I have yet to see a racing series on the DS that can match the asphalt Urban GT games. I'm playing through part 2 and I know part 4 is available on DSiWare but, what in the world happened to part 3? I guell Ill do some research later tonight. Right now I have so much time invested into this game and the car models are simply stunning for the DS. I would love to see a full on, adventure game made for the DSi from these guys. Sorry "Need for Speed", you just got owned in the street racing genre by the new guys!

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Ladies and Gentlemen, "Kingdom Hearts" has finally made it to a Nintendo console... in 3D! Sorry but, for Nintendo gamers, "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories" is definitely not a 3D "Hearts" game. I can tell you stories of the Friday night where I spent four hours playing this game. Coming from a total "Kingdom Hearts" noob, I not have new found respect for this game. I can totally see why this franchise is a good one and this is a game that I will be trying very hard to finish.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

sometimes it's just good to be bad. Not note that I, in NO way condone the playing of this game by ANYONE under the game of 17. With that said, if you are old enough to play this game and you own any incarnation of a DS portable you MUST get this game. There's soo much coolness in this game that these little words can not explain. Actually I think I'll be cutting this short so I can get back to playing GTA!

Here it is! FINALLY! some game play footage of the Wii version of Call of Duty 4. I have to say that I'm impressed.

(Wii) My Playtime With "Need for Speed: Nitro"

A few hours ago, I was finally able to sit down with a copy of "Need for Speed: Nitro." I have to say that this game is VERY pretty! The lighting effects, the reflections, the textures of the road, it all looks beautiful. For a game that uses a little over 2 gigs (garbage data brings it up to 4.3) of the 4.7 available on this disc, "Nitro" is pretty cool, from a graphical standpoint. I love the bright colors. Its not too cartoon bright but, a nice mix of realism and fantasy. Even the menu has a cool look. it was obvious that EA Games took their time to make this game look no less than a modern experience.

My major gripes comes from the game play. I HATE the fact that the police drive around in hummers. They are bulky and take up a lot of space on the race course. The courses feel a bit smaller in width but that's probably because there are too many cars on the track. Another annoyance is how drifting is handled. Its not as reactive as It needs to be. Actually if I had to describe the drifting and a lot of the game play mechanics, I would say, "TOO arcadey". I know this is a arcade racer but the game play did not have to be over the top. Anywho, its different and nice. The only thing it really misses is an online mode. After nearly 4 years of having the "Need for Speed" franchise on the Wii, one would come to expect an online mode on an online capable system.

I'm very mixed about this game. On one side, this game shows obvious signs of care from the developer. On the other side, it's lacking a lot that you expect from other games, of the same franchise. if you have the money and you want a nice holiday racer, go ahead and get this game. It's not bad. on the other hand, if you don't have the funds, wait for a "Black Friday" sale or ask somebody to buy this for you as a holiday present. It's not a bad game...just lacking.

(Wii) Call of Duty Modern Warfare Gets a Co-Op Mode

In the Wii's Modern Warfare Squad Mate mode, a second player can use a second remote to fire off shots at enemies, but has no control of the movement and only their reticule will appear on the screen.

It's kind of like a shooter's version of Co-Star Mode, the cooperative two-player option in Super Mario Galaxy that had one gamer playing while the other fired off stars to help out the main gamer.

"It's like Super Mario Galaxy's support mode," said Daniel Suarez, executive producer for the game. "I can drop in and out at any time during the entire single-player campaign. I can pick up weapons, reload and support the main character."

While playing as a Squad Mate, the main player's gun remains jutting from the center of the screen. The secondary player has a different colored reticule that can be used for aiming and shoot. During scenes where the screen is zoomed in, such as for sniping or when using a mounted weapon, the secondary player can't shoot.

There are very few other differences between the Wii version of the title initially released for consoles two years ago.

"Everything that was in Modern Warfare is in here," he said. "We have not left anything out, it's undiluted. All of the single player maps down to the number of AI are there."

Online multiplayer includes all of the same maps and modes, the same experience system and ranking and the unlockables. The Wii version will have some changed in online play, including a decrease to a maximum of ten players online.

The online mode will also support host migration, which means that if the host of an online match disconnects the game won't end. Suarez said the they've also included the ability to import your list of friends from the Wii into the game so you can see if they are playing the game when you are and invite them into a match directly without having to reenter their friend codes.

"Our hope is that it will have the same addictive nature of playing online on the Wii as the original does," he said.

To bring the game over from the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 to the Wii the team at Treyarch had to spend a significant amount of time optimizing and improving the engine last used to create Call of Duty: World at War.

"We did lots of optimization," Suarez said. "It improved the overall experience of the game. It has better texture optimization, optimized fire effects and explosions."

The Wii title also supports the same sort of fully customizable controls first seen in Wii shooter The Conduit.

"Since Conduit people want to be able to customize their controls," he said. "So we've given them the developer's tool box. You can change everything."

Watching Suarez and another developer play through the Sins of the Father level, the game certainly captured the feel of the original Modern Warfare and included all of the audio and cut scenes.

The colors seemed a bit washed out, but Suarez later told me that he though that was a product of the television not the game. I did notice that many of the straight lines in the game were jagged.

The game's explosions and weapons fire looked fantastic. Suarez says the game runs at a consistent 30 frames per a second.

"Our goal is for people who own a Wii and have never played this game on another console before to buy it," he said. "We think there is a large group of people who haven't played Modern Warfare."

Hey peeps,

Its been a long while since I have been updating the blog on a regular basis. Last night I got a few rounds in with "SmackDown vs. RAW 2009" (Wii version obviously). I'm excited about the 2010 game but at the same tine I'm disappointed. sure, we get all of the story creation option (although a bit skimpy in some areas) but with no online mode in this game, I cant help but to feel shafted. Even worse, I have a feeling that the Wii team at THQ based our game off of the PlayStation 2 version. Last year's game gave off so much promise and only lacked a few small things and now its like THQ is starting all over again. Why must they reinvent the wheel EVERY year? What's so hard about continuing where you left off?

Another annoyance I have, and it's not just with THQ, is developers lack of using DVD-9 disc. "Smackdown vs. RAW 2010" would have benefited from the extra space of a DVD-9 disc instead of trying the cram the Wii version on a DVD-5. Its like, after the whole "lens cleaning" issue of Smash Bros Brawl, devs are afraid to actually put their games on the bigger disc. I don't see what the big issue is. Heck, even the price of these DVD-9 disc are coming down. Last year I got a 3 pack for 11.99 and this year I got a 25 pack for 24.99. see the major change? Anywho, I'm still looking forward to getting my hands on the new SmackDown game. Aside from that, I have been playing "Spyborgs" (Wii) lately. it's a very fun game and very underrated. If you have the chance, and enough controllers, grab a friend and play the game together. Well, that's all for now. I have to get back to posting "real gaming news". Laterz!

The following tid bit comes from a Visceral Games staffer, who made a posting on the "Neo GAF" forum...

"It is a shame nobody bought this. As much as everyone made fun of Frank Gibeau's "experiment" it will actually influence the SKU plan with respect to the Wii just like he said in his interview."

After checking gamecharts.com, it looks like the game has sold roughly 500,000 copies. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH EVERYBODY?!? Many in the Wii camp, complain and whine about traditional, core games not being made for the system. Someone finally creates something great and all of a sudden, nobody buys it?! GO GET THIS GAME! It's great! I love this game and it deserves every sale it can get. Hopefully things will change once the holiday season kicks in.

I would be telling a lie if I was to say that I am not interested in this video game adaptation of the Wizard of OZ. The art style looks amazing and is really pushing the DS Lite hardware (not so much the DSi). I really hope this game has a DSi mode so that it can use the extra horsepower of the higher end system. If not, that is OK, because I still plan on playing this game!

Could we be Seeing a Mini Ninjas TV Show?!

Today, 4Kids Entertainment has decided to pick up the licensing rights to the "Mini Ninjas" franchise. I have not had a chance to pick up Mini Ninjas (due to the fact that I'm playing another game with ninjas in it. "TMNT Smash Up") but I have heard all sorts of good things about it.

The deal covers all territories except Japan and Korea for merchandise based on the Mini Ninjas action adventure video game, which was released this month on multiple platforms.

4Kids will look to expand the brand’s presence in the marketplace through a targeted licensing program spanning multiple product categories.

Developed by Io Interactive, Mini Ninjas is the latest franchise from the creators of the Hitman series. The game follows Hiro, a young Ninja and unlikely hero, as he is called upon to save the world after Evil Samurai Warlord hatches a plan to take over the world.

“Mini Ninjas has a wonderfully distinctive look and compelling characters, and the brand appeals to a broad demographic range – all key attributes for a healthy licensing program across multiple categories,” said Carlin West, executive vice president for acquisitions and development for 4Kids Entertainment.

The Mini Ninjas video game is co-published in North America by Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. After watching all of that, I guess its time for me to get a USB hub with more than 4 ports. When you add the USB Keyboard for the Internet Channel, Wii Speak microphone, the Guitar Hero or RockBand microphone, RockBand guitars and maybe a USB hard drive for multimedia, you're going to need a nice sized hub.

Ok Its time for Volume 2 of "Flash Games you Should be Playing on Your Wii" I started off volume one, yesterday, with "3D Logic". That game, was a simple Rubik Cube puzzle game that makes great use of the Wii remote as a pointer. Today I give you "Alien Hominid"! That's right! The flash game that has been widely played since its introduction to the interwebs. Before you hop into this game, you will need to whip out a USB keyboard (something that most serious Internet channel users will already have). This game has NO Wii Remote support at all. Aside from that, this is still a great game and totally worth the play time. Before I leave you, I want to remind you that if you find yourself loving this game very much, you can purchase the GameCube version of this game so that you can play at anytime.

And even worse this is just another addition to the horrible dating culture in the United States. "MY NET WORTH?! REALLY NOW?!" Once again, we teach young women that it's OK to judge a man based upon what he has and not by what type of person he really is. And females wonder why they cant find a good man. That's because they're so damn busy being "gold diggers"!

This app is nothing more than a glorified stalkers tool and I hope that people wise up and begin to fight back against this! I'm seconds away from starting a petition/boycott. Today's game is "3D Logic". This game is a simple Rubik Cube like puzzle game that will have you hooked in no time. The objective is to create a path from one colored cube to another of the same color without blocking the other colored paths. I embedded the game below so you can start playing without having to travel to another site. For Wii browsers, use the zoom in feature (The (+) Button) to adjust the game to your screen. I placed the game in faux widescreen ratio. If a heavy amount of Wii users begin to express their feelings about me posting a standard ratio embed, I will also do that. For now Have fun!

That's right! as of today, Nintendo is "One Hundred Twenty" years old!

Most of us only think about Nintendo the video game company but Nintendo has been around for a long time doing different things. These things include, selling playing cards, running a cab company and running "Love Hotels". Through out the years Nintendo constantly proves that they can create and innovate and in the end are payed back tenfold. Here are a few "tid bits". Did you know that the word "Nintendo" roughly translates into "Leave luck to Heaven"? How about the fact that Nintendo is the major owner of the Seattle Mariners? Below, I leave you with a short timeline of Nintendo's history leading up till Nintendo's mondern age. While you read it, tell me your stories of how Nintendo has made an impacct in your life.

founded on September 23, 1889 by Fusajiro Yamauchi. At that time Nintendo's business consisted of producing handmade hanafuda cards

In 1956, Hiroshi Yamauchi (the grandson of Fusajiro Yamauchi) visited the U.S. to talk with the United States Playing Card Company, the dominant playing card manufacturer in that country. He found that the world's biggest company in his business was only using a small office. This was a turning point, where Yamauchi realized the limitations of the playing card business. He then gained access to Disney's characters and put them on the playing cards to drive sales.

In 1963, Yamauchi renamed Nintendo Playing Card Company Limited to Nintendo Company, Limited. The company then began to experiment in other areas of business. The company tried several small niche businesses, such as a cab company and a love hotel

In 1966, Nintendo moved into the Japanese toy industry with the Ultra Hand, an extending arm developed by its maintenance engineer Gunpei Yokoi in his free time. Yokoi was moved from maintenance to the new "Nintendo Games" department as a product developer.

1970's Nintendo eventually develops into a video game company.

1974, Nintendo secured the rights to distribute the Magnavox Odyssey home video game console in Japan.

1977, Nintendo began producing its own Color TV Game home video game consoles. Four versions of these consoles were produced, each playing variations on a single game (for example, Color TV Game 6 featured six versions of Light Tennis).

1977, A student product developer named Shigeru Miyamoto was hired by Nintendo at this time. He worked for Yokoi, and one of his first tasks was to design the casing for several of the Color TV Game consoles. Miyamoto went on to create some of Nintendo's most famous video games and become one of the most recognizable faces in the video game industry.

1975, Nintendo moved into the video arcade game industry with EVR Race, designed by their first game designer, Genyo Takeda, and several more titles followed. Nintendo had some small success with this venture, but the release of Donkey Kong in 1981, designed by Miyamoto, changed Nintendo's fortunes dramatically. The success of the game and many licensing opportunities (such as ports on the Atari 2600, Intellivision and ColecoVision) gave Nintendo a huge boost in profit.

In 1980, Nintendo launched Game & Watch, a handheld video game series developed by Yokoi, to worldwide success.

In 1983, Nintendo launched the Family Computer (commonly called by its shortened name "Famicom") home video game console in Japan alongside ports of its most popular arcade titles. In 1985, the console launched in North America as the Nintendo Entertainment System, and was accompanied by Super Mario Bros.. In 1989, Yokoi developed the Game Boy handheld video game console. Nintendo is the longest-surviving video game console manufacturer to date.

... and the rest is history! Nintendo goes on to create the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo Wii in the home console arena. As for their portable business, after the Gameboy, there was a "Pocket", "Color" and "Advanced" edition. After the "Game Boy Advanced", Nintendo shifted things to their dual screened portable, the "Nintendo" DS. So far we now have the DS Classic, DS Lite and the DSi. Who knows what else we will see from Nintendo in the future! Whatever it may be, I cant wait!

Quebec City, CANADA – September 17th, 2009— Trish Stratus, former professional wrestling champion (WWE) and fitness model was at Frima Studio’s office along with to announce the development of Stratusphere, a new Wii game in which she will be starring. Using the Wii balance board and other new and innovative Wii peripheral devices, the diva will be coaching the players along in a complete and tough routine in a Zen 3D background.

“We wanted to present yoga as a real workout and not only as a method of relaxing. Combining Trish Stratus as a personal coach, coupled with her yoga experience, players will have to work through challenging routines to get results! Isn’t that what working out is all about?” concludes Frima’s CEO, Steve Couture.

Produced entirely in Frima’s Studios, with collaboration from Roundhouse Interactive’s President Michael Montanaro, the game will feature several video segments and take approximately six months of development. With major publishers showing interest, Frima is yet to make a choice and still open to new offers as development is slated to start in a few weeks. The title would be available for Q2 2010.
