I said yesterday, that I want to start posting up footage of my gameplay sessions. Last night I decided to test a few of my devices to see what my best options were. Here is some footage of me playing Sengoku Basara. It's nearly a half hour of playtime and it's not my best work but I hope you enjoy watching.
There are just some things that stay with you for a long time. Ive been using basic HTML since I was 14, I'm 25 now and it amazes me how I still remember certain tags and how to use them properly. If push came to shove and I found myself totally lost I have at least two HTML coding books here that I can always refer to and of course, there's my "friend" Google. Right now I'm just spitting out thoughts here so feel free to ignore this post.
Now with the blog back in circulation I do want to do some neat things soon. First I'm planning to revamp my Justin.TV page and will be posting gameplay streams soon. I did a quick test of the Justin.TV app on my Android device and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised at the performance. Secondly I will be revamping my Youtube page. It's time for me to do a few commentaries, say some things that people are just too afraid to say. Frankly, as much as I love the gaming industry, there are a lot of things that make me want to pull my dreads out.
All of that aside. I really want to do a better job of keeping this blog up. Hopefully those of you following me will continue to stick with me. Also, thank you to those of you who are reading my blog. I appreciate your viewer-ship. OK I'm done talking. -Duces!
OK I know it's been a while since Ive worked on this site but you know what, I think it's time to make a comeback. Today I'm doing exactly that... I'm BACK!
OK, not much to say. It's obvious that I haven't posted anything in a long while but I wont give up on this blog so easily. Anywho, expect some new blog post today and yes, I'm starting off like I never left. =^_^=
If you're wondering about the slow pace of things honestly, there really is not much gaming news around this time of year. Aside from that I am working with two other friends to create a streamlined site for our multiple blogs. The site is called GameChan and while I do have a URL I will not present it yet. Not until I finish up more of the site. In it's current state, the site is a utter mess and would be an embarrassment to show. Please send me your best wishes while I figure to this horrid site editor and try to get things together.
On Monday I got my copy of Guitar Hero 5 but I did not have a guitar to play with until today. Say hello to my "Aly and AJ Guitar Hero guitar"!
Its light and has a few cons but the major pro, outweigh what negatives I could find. The buttons feel normal, "clicky" as always but I like that. It also feels a bit smaller than the official Activision made guitars. The strum bar is a bit smaller in length so I had to get used to it. The whammy bar seems a bit off but it works. My biggest fear with this guitar is, the fact that the plastic feels very lightweight and not as durable as the official guitar. Aside from all of that its an "Aly and AJ" guitar! I'm so happy I finally have one. Ive been looking for this guitar since two holiday seasons ago and I finally found one, (the last one) at a local area GameStop (...I guess they're good for something).
I just finished doing some homework and now I'm blogging a bit. Expect a few post then, I'll be away for a while to cook, play some "Guitar Hero 5" and catch up on last night's episode of ECW. I hope you all have a good evening!
OK first off, sorry for lagging with the blog post. Secondly, I have been a bit busy playing Trace Memory R (also known as Another Code R in Japan and PAL regions). If you are not familiar with the Trace Memory games, don't feel so bad. Trace Memory came out for the Nintendo DS a few years back and while the game received great reviews, American gamers didn't "bite" enough to garner good sales.
Because of that fact, Nintendo of America is still up in the air on the localization of Trace Memory R to the states. This is why I went ahead and got a PAL copy of the game and honestly it was one of my better gaming moves! This game takes place two years after the first and Ashley (our protagonist) is now 16 years old. She is invited to a camping trip by her father and deals with a few things. First she deals with her strained relationship and things turn to a new mystery about her deceased mother and one dealing with a new friend she meets at the campsite. Aside from solving the two mysteries Ashley and her friend Matt are faced with, it is very fun to watch Ashley deal with the norms of teenage life. She deals with snobby girls, cool college guys, being in a band and other things you would expect from a teenage girl. The interactions between the characters really do help to round out Ashley as a person.
Right now I am halfway done with the game and because there is no wrestling tonight, that's even better for me! I get to spend a good chunk of the night playing! I know I have a few other writing projects to finish up but I think there will be a fair chance that I will end up writing a review for this game. If you are a person who imports games or have a Wii capable of playing import games, this game is definitely worth checking out.
I know that it has been a while since I have posted anything but lately, things in life have been pretty hectic. What's new, right? I'm struggling with some emotional issues to say the least but it doesn't mean that I have totally forgotten about the blog. Actually I have three lengthy articles that are almost prime for posting. Speaking of "Prime", let's not forget that "Metroid Prime: Trilogy" is due out this month! I have mixed feelings about this release but as a Nintendo fan I will still support it. I do like the fact that the achievement system from "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption" has been included in the port of Prime one and two (Echoes). As for the blog, today, expect to see an influx of news. I will try to add things that I believe are totally worthwhile. For now, I will say good buy. I'll be busy bringing you some good news!
Here it is, another Sunday morning. Today looks like its going to be filled with youtube clip, blog post. There's a lot I want to share. Also I have decided to add another TV show to this blog. For those of you who have been following this blog since May you know that I have been posting up "Power Rangers RPM" episodes. I wont stop posting those up, in fact I have a new episode to share today. In addition I will be posting up episodes of FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling). If you ever wondered where a lot of your favorite WWE superstarts come from, now you have your answer. FCW is basically the minor league to the WWE and to give this show some more exposure outside of Florida, I will post episodes here. Aside from all of that there will be another influx of Nintendo news so be on the lookout for that.
I'm working on my review of The Conduit. If I can pry myself away from the game, long enough, there's a good chance that the review will be up tomorrow evening. I'm going through a lot and could use some cheering up. Granted, I'm staying strong. The bad times wont last forever. Expect a influx of gaming news tonight...
I don't know why. It's 12:05 am and I'm still up watching "Wrestlemania 24". There's this guy who is hosting every SmackDown brand WWE episode from 2002 to 2007 on his Justin.tv channel. That also includes pay per views related to the SmackDown brand. Anywho. I can't sleep. I'm so frustrated. She actually had the nerve to message me. For what? To "see how I'm doing?" I call total bull on that but I have stronger words that I just wont say. Shoot I consider my use of the word "frack" is a bit harsh for a somewhat "family friendly" blog. Speaking of family friendly I'm thinking about rating my blog post. I think doing so might be interesting. maybe I'll use the ESRB system, especially since this is partially a Nintendo blog. Oh well, I'll be around...
...Just a quick note. If you notice the bottom of my page, you will see that I have added a search engine for my blog. If you feel the need to do any extra research on the topics I write about or just need to look up anything in general, hopefully this will be of some help to you. When using the engine, you will be re-routed back to a slightly modded version of the blog page, where your search results will appear at the bottom. Also, I have added a new post label called "Blog News". It's self explanatory.
