DSi, One Step Closer to Being Fully Homebrew Friendly

Some time last month The common keys for the Nintendo DSi were found by hackers. Now, thanks to Team Twiizers (the same guys behind the Wii's Homebrew Channel), we are one step closer to having a more homebrew friendly Nintendo DSi. Check out the new exploit below.

Nintendo 64 iPhone Emulator

Now this is an interesting little application for the iPhone, a Nintendo 64 emulator. Personally I never understood iPhone gaming. Really, games made for a touch screen is one thing but games that require you to use touch screen buttons to control major functions of the game, that's a "no no". Even in DS games, I only like my touch screen buttons to serve a secondary feature. "Tony Hawk American Sk8teland" (albeit a great game) used to have its "turn off" moments with me when I had to move from my buttons and use the touch screen, to pick up my skater. Back to this emulator, obviously Nintendo will squash this like a bug in the "store" area but, I'm sure all the homebrewers will have fun with this little thing. Check out the footage below.

Rejoice! Homebrew is Coming to the Nintendo DSi

Everyone who dabbles in the homebrew scene of the DS or Wii brands knows that most flash cards are blocked when attempted to use on the Nintendo DSi. personally I only know of 2 flash cards that actually work with the new system. While homebrew can still be used to an extent, Team Twiizers (of the Wii "Twilight Hack" fame) have been working hard on a more "native" solution. Here is a video of their early work...
