(3DS) "Pacman & Galaga: Dimensions" Announced

Today Namco Bandai announced "Pacman & Galaga: Dimensions" From what I can make out this game is made up of two separate games, Pacman Tilt and Galaga 3D Impact. Here are some screens below.

(3DS) "The Conduit" is in Works for the Nintendo 3DS

Here you have it people! Proof that a version of The Conduit in some form is in works for the Nintendo 3DS.
"We are very much pulling over this engine and this technology on this new hardware. We're still early. The resolution is definitely lower, but the screen real estate is smaller so it balances out. We've not had a lot of severe optimisation yet, but we're going to be able to have something very close to this [Conduit 2] on the 3DS probably by GDC. We've got environments from this already up and running around. You can shoot, you can select different weapons and you can see enemies. It runs pretty darn well with full 3D and everything. I would guess that SEGA will be interested. I had a nice conversation just yesterday with their head of artist and repertoire. At DICE, the conference in Vegas that's coming up, we'll probably have some more chats. We're very excited about that system and what we're going to be be able to do on it. The work we've done with the Wii, we're going to have a serious leg up. It's quite different than developing for the DS and the DSi. Developers like us that have more of a console experience on GameCube and on Wii are going to be able to take advantage of the 3D better and they're going to be able to do a little bit more with the hardware than people who are coming at it from the straight DS angle and used to doing more 2D, or very limited 3D, kinds of things. There's nothing like it at all (on 3DS). We can be a shining star on this." - High Voltage's Eric Nofsinger

If you don't know, there is a new Nintendo DS system on the horizon! The "Nintendo 3DS", a new portable game console will feature glasses-less 3D gaming, multimedia features and high resolution graphics rivaling current generation home consoles I'm going to let the videos do the "talking". If you just want to most pertinent information feel free to only watch the first two videos. The third video features the full U.S. Nintendo 3DS event. Have fun!

Games to Look Forward to.

It's finally 2011 and unlike last year I find myself wondering where are the games? Last year, when it came to the Wii's lineup, there was at least one major game every month. This year I'm finding it hard pressed to even think of a game for the next few months. After a few moments of searching hard, I found the following games and videos
Mario Sports Mix
Conduit 2
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The Last Story
Special Note: If this game does not make it state side, I will riot, and cry and bawl for a long time. -well, at least until a translation group releases a translation patch ;)
The Grinder
I'm not sure what the deal is with this game. Last time I checked, the Wii version was slated for released in October of this year. I'm not sure if this game will ever see the light of day considering that High Voltage Studios is also working on a XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 version but who knows.
... right there, we have at the least five really good games to look forward to. I'm sure there will be other surprises this year. Only time will tell. For now, let's enjoy all of the great Wii games we have now. :)

Wii: Nintendo's WiiWare Service Celebrates its Second Anniversary

WOW! Times does fly when you're having fun. I remember a while back when I was downloading up my first two WiiWare Games from the Wii Shop Channel. Pop and TV Show King were and still are two pretty good WiiWare Games. If you own a Wii and have yet to experience the WiiWare side of games, go grab a Nintendo Points card from your local retailer or pull out your credit/debit card and purchase a few tiles.
Since the WiiWare service has started...
- 209 games are now in the Wii Shop
- 67 of those games are 1000 Points, closely followed by 62 800 Point games
- Only 2 games in the library are 900 Points: Fun! Fun! Minigolf & The Three Musketeers: One for All!
- Total worth in points: 161,000 Nintendo Points
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2 U.S. Commercial and Other Gameplay Clips

It's almost here, it's almost here! Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be released within a few weeks and I am very excited! Below is the commercial that you should be seeing on television within the next couple of days. I think I might be more of a fan of Mario's second "Galaxy outing" than his first. Don't get me wrong, the first one is one of the greatest games of all time and will always hold a place in my gaming heart but this second game looks to take what the first game did to the next level!
If you decide to watch the next two videos, remember that "Super Mario Galaxy 2" takes place in a alternate universe where the actions of "Galaxy 1" never took place. That's right you are meeting the Lumas for the first time, all over again. Also take note that all of the following videos will contain spoilers. If you are not a fan of spoilers, I would put off watching these videos.

DS/DSi - Trailer: Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbaride Card Battle Taisen
Looks like a new Kamen Rider (DS) game is on the way and... it's card based. I'm a bit disappointed about this move and feel as if a true fighting game would be better. For now, I will look high and low for the DS version of "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight". The DS could really use more 3D fighting games than Naruto.
New "Mama" Games hit the Wii and DS/DSi This Fall

That's right people, Mama is back and she's aiming to take over all of your Nintendo consoles! Two new "Mama" games were announced today, Babysitting Mama and Crafting Mama. From the small bit below about "Babysitting Mama" One can only wonder how much Majesco will charge for that game.
Babysitting Mama
- coming to Wii
- due out this Fall
- comes with plush baby doll that allows you to tuck the Wiimote inside
- rock the plush baby doll to care for it
Crafting Mama
- coming to DS
- crafting game with forty projects
- due out this Fall
- use stylus to sew, paint, cut, and mold crafts

Michael Patcher Just Wont Give Up His "Wii HD" Prediction
Michael Patcher Just Wont Give Up His "Wii HD" Prediction
"Yes, that's right...Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter is not going to let go of his Wii HD prediction. Earlier today we posted up his predictions for the industry all the way up to 2013. While we discussed the expected 53 million Wii units sold in North America, we didn't mention Mr. Pachter's talk of new consoles. Actually, Pachter doesn't believe that Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony will be shipping out new consoles for the next 4 years...unless you count Wii HD as a new console. Pachter sticks by that prediction, and I don't think he's ever going to give it up!"

"Oh Patcher, you're so crazy!" For now I'll respond to your continued idiotic prediction with the following picture...
